What is the ruling on a supervisor accepting a lunch meal provided by the contractor, if the contract only stipulates light refreshments?

If the contract stipulates that the contractor provides snacks for the supervisors, then it is permissible to accept them. However, anything beyond that is not permissible to accept except with the permission of the project owner, because it falls under the category of bribery and gifts to workers, which are considered embezzlement and treachery, as indicated by the Sharia texts.
