Is the story that speaks of two men on the Day of Resurrection, one of whom gives a good deed to the other so that he may enter Paradise with it, and Allah admits them both to Paradise together, authentic?

Some stories have been mentioned without a chain of narration (isnad (definition)), among them is that two friends in this world, one passes by the other while he is being dragged to Hellfire, and he says to him: "Take my good deeds so you may be saved." So, Allah commands both of them and they enter Paradise. Another story is that a man is brought on the Day of Resurrection and finds no good deeds. So, Allah commands him to search for someone who might give him a good deed, and he despairs. Then, a man comes to him who possesses only one good deed and bestows it upon him. Then Allah says to them: "My generosity is greater than your generosity; take your brother by the hand and both of you enter Paradise." The ruling on these tales depends on knowing their chain of narration (isnad), and such matters of the unseen can only be established through revelation.
