Would a person who goes to a building affiliated with a church—specifically for women—to proselytize Islam be committing a sin?

It is forbidden to go to church gatherings and what follows them, due to the accompanying dangers, including: reviving places of polytheism, deceiving the ignorant, posing a danger to the hearts of attendees, and abandoning the houses of Allah and circles of knowledge. They cannot be guided to the truth. However, there is no harm in going to them to invite them to Islam, provided that the caller is knowledgeable, and it is forbidden for the ignorant to go. It is also permissible to meet with them in public forums for debate or lectures, provided that Muslim scholars explain the tenets of Islam and refute misconceptions.
