Is it permissible to carry the deceased on a bier and a washing stand made of iron?

We do not know of any harm in transporting the deceased on wood, planks, or iron, but it is preferable to use something light to facilitate its carrying by people, especially if it is carried on shoulders. However, if it is carried in a car, the matter is broad, but the light material remains preferable in all cases.
