Is it permissible to install a set of artificial teeth?

There is no harm in installing a set of artificial dentures out of necessity and for health reasons, such as for someone whose teeth or some of them have fallen out or been damaged.

However, if it is merely for beautification, adornment, or deception, then it is not permissible, because it falls under the category of altering Allah's creation, which is forbidden.
