Is it permissible to learn to draw the human body for purposes of industrial design and architecture, knowing that I do not intend to imitate Allah's creation, and I fear that what I learn might be used in wrong ways after my death?

It is permissible to draw the human body and other animate beings if they are incomplete in a way that they could not live, such as drawing only the face or only the head. It is also permissible if the face is effaced, even if the drawing is complete. If the drawings in the book are incomplete in a way that they could not live, or if they are complete but their faces are effaced, there is no harm in purchasing or using it.
