Is it permissible to get rid of a fetus resulting from adultery, and how is repentance accepted after committing the abomination?

Immediate repentance is obligatory, with its conditions (cessation [of sin], regret, and resolve not to return [to sin]), and one should conceal the sin. Allah’s mercy is vast and His forgiveness is immense. Abortion is forbidden, and if the soul has been breathed into the fetus, it becomes the killing of a soul. A child resulting from adultery is legally attributed to the woman's husband (the master of the bed). Suicide is forbidden; it is the escape of the helpless and leads to misery and an evil end in the fire of Hell.
