Is it permissible for a husband to abandon his wife emotionally and sexually for more than nine months, while not spending the night with her for eleven months, and she is harmed by that?

It is not permissible for a husband to abandon his wife for a long period that causes her harm. He must be just between his wives in terms of lodging, and any dereliction in this regard is an injustice and a sin. It is advisable to supplicate and for wise individuals to intervene to reconcile or to separate amicably, as divorce may sometimes be better than the wife remaining in a state of torment to her soul, and Allah may facilitate something better for the woman than him. Reconciliation is best whenever possible.
