If menstrual blood (blood spots) appears at least 15 days after the previous period of purity, and it continues for a day and a night, then it is considered menstruation that prevents prayer and fasting. Since the spots continue for two or three days and connect to the regular monthly period, they are considered menstruation if 15 days have passed since the previous menstruation, as the duration of menstruation may increase or decrease. However, if these spots appear before the minimum period of purity (15 days) has passed, they are not considered menstruation until the minimum period of purity has elapsed.
