How is the financial support (nafaqah) divided between two wives, knowing that one of them has an employed son and three daughters, and the other has two daughters, and the husband is currently living with the second wife?

It is obligatory for the husband to provide each wife with her maintenance and the maintenance of her needy child, in a reasonable manner, and to give each one what is appropriate for her situation. The obligatory maintenance includes food, clothing, and suitable housing for each case, whether the wife is wealthy, poor, or of moderate means, and the customs of people are to be considered in this regard. A father is not obligated to provide maintenance for his child who possesses wealth. The husband must be just between his two wives, even if they are in different countries.
