What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the money of a repentant actress that she earned from her previous work, and is it permissible or forbidden for her to live off of it? What should she do if it is forbidden and she has no other source of income?

Money earned from acting is unlawful. Part of completing repentance is to dispose of it by spending it on the welfare of Muslims. It is not permissible to benefit from any of it unless one has no other money to spend, in which case it is permissible for him to keep what suffices for himself and his dependants to meet basic necessities, as Allah Almighty says: "And He has enumerated for you what He has forbidden to you, except that to which you are compelled." Some scholars have held that it is permissible for a poor person to give this money as charity to himself and his family.
