Is it permissible to add the word "Ta'ala" (the Most High) in the saying, "Al-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi Ta'ala wa barakatuh" (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah the Most High and His blessings)?

The word "Ta'ala" (Exalted be He) is not present in the Prophetic tradition "As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" (Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings). A Muslim should omit it and restrict themselves to what has been reported in the Sunnah. Continuously using it would make it seem like a Sunnah, yet it was not reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him). However, there is no harm in doing it occasionally.
