What is the ruling on my reporting a work-related injury that is contrary to the truth, and what is the ruling on my companion who testified to my statement, and what is the ruling on the compensations I receive as a result of the injury?

What the questioner and his companion did involves lying, bearing false witness, and taking financial compensation they do not deserve. The compensation is not lawful, and his companion committed a grave sin by bearing false witness, which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against. Therefore, they must repent to Allah, and repentance is not complete except by returning the money taken unjustly.
