Is it permissible to supplicate with the words: O Allah, make the Divine Essence intercede for him?

This supplication, besides not being authentically transmitted, has an ambiguous meaning, as if the supplicant is saying: "O Allah, let Your Essence intercede on his behalf." It is better for a person, when supplicating, to seek out the supplications from the Qur'an and Sunnah and suffice himself with them, for in them are goodness, blessings, and sufficiency.
