Is seeking forgiveness 900 times a day considered a Bid’ah (innovation in religion), and what is the ruling on delaying marriage due to the problem of premature ejaculation and the inability to find a cure?

It is commendable to increase seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) and sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the reward increases with the increase in number. It is permissible to set a specific number for dhikr (remembrance of God) for the purpose of activity and daily commitment, provided that it is not believed that this specific number has a special merit; otherwise, it would fall into innovation (bid'ah). Some of the righteous predecessors (Salaf) are reported to have committed to specific numbers for tasbih (glorification of God). Marriage is recommended to help maintain chastity and persevere in repentance. One should not be deterred by the whispers of Satan, such as premature ejaculation. For whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him, and the one who seeks marriage for chastity has a right upon Allah to be aided.
