The answer

If a woman experiences menstruation or postpartum bleeding during Hajj or before it, she performs all the rituals except for circumambulating the Kaaba, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "Perform all the rituals of Hajj except for circumambulating the House until you become pure." She should postpone the circumambulation until after she becomes pure. There is no harm in taking medication to prevent menstruation. However, if she experiences menstruation after the circumambulation of Ifadah (Tawaf al-Ifadah), then the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada') is waived for her.
