If a husband utters the phrase "Upon me be divorce" without intending the لفظ (pronouncement), then no divorce is binding upon him. However, if he intended the لفظ and then remained silent after saying "Upon me be divorce," it appears that no divorce falls upon him, just as Malik answered concerning someone who intended to suspend a triple divorce and said, "Upon me be triple divorce," and then remained silent.
