Are grapes and pomegranates blessed fruits because they are mentioned in the Quran?

If the intended meaning of the blessing of grapes and pomegranates is the abundance of their benefits, then they are like other blessed fruits with numerous advantages that Allah has bestowed upon His servants and mentioned in the Holy Quran. Grapes and pomegranates are mentioned in several surahs to show the multitude of their benefits, as Allah Almighty says: (He causes to grow for you thereby the crops and olive trees and palm trees and grapevines and from all [other] fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.) [An-Nahl: 11], and (And it is He who produced gardens trellised and untrellised, and palm trees and crops of different [kinds of] food, and olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar.) [Al-An'am: 141]. Pomegranates and palm trees are mentioned in the context of the fruits of Paradise in His saying, the Almighty: (In them are fruits and palm trees and pomegranates.) [Ar-Rahman: 68], and their mention is conjoined with fruit to show their excellence, for dates are both fruit and food, and pomegranates are both fruit and medicine. Their blessedness is inferred from their inclusion in the context of Allah's favors upon His servants, for He only bestows what contains benefit, goodness, and blessing. We do not know of any additional blessing for them over other permissible things mentioned in the Quran.
