A wife has the right to demand a separate dwelling. However, if she agrees to live with her husband's family, then her father does not have the right to prevent her from doing so. She is not obliged to obey him if he orders her to separate from her husband, because obedience to her husband is more incumbent upon her. The husband is advised not to divorce his wife, and wise individuals can mediate to reconcile them.
