Is it forbidden for a man to imagine sexual scenes with any woman while feeling lust and pleasure? And is that considered zina (adultery/fornication)?

Fleeting thoughts, self-talk, and fantasies are not considered zina (fornication/adultery) nor are they sinful as long as they remain as such. However, one should not indulge in them or enjoy them, as this exposes the self to provocations and the whisperings of Satan. Furthermore, it could lead to committing forbidden acts and yielding to desires, as it is a means to haram (the forbidden), as indicated by the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "A woman should not touch another woman and then describe her to her husband as if he is looking at her." It is more befitting for a Muslim to occupy his time with what benefits him in this world and the hereafter, and not to let Satan toy with him. Moreover, indulging in these fantasies can become an addiction that negatively impacts a man's relationship with his wife.
