Does the statement of Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the angels were created from the light of the arms and chest have an effect?

Angels were created from light, as established in the authentic Hadith (definition). As for the narration stating that they were created from the light of the arms and chest, it was reported on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, and it is a mawquf (stopped) narration, not attributed to the Prophet, peace be upon him (marfu'). Abdullah ibn Amr used to consult the books of the People of the Book, and what was reported from him regarding matters of the unseen might have been taken from them. Narrations from the People of the Book are neither to be believed nor disbelieved.
