Information about the Taj Mahal is available online; it is an ancient architectural structure built by a Muslim prince who buried his wife there. From an Islamic legal perspective, spending vast sums of money on its construction is considered blameworthy extravagance. Furthermore, burying the dead in houses is disliked by scholars, and it is preferable to bury them in Muslim cemeteries. As for visiting the place for sightseeing, there is no objection to it as long as it does not involve excessive effort or mixing with unveiled women. However, it is more appropriate for a Muslim not to travel except for seeking knowledge, for dawah (inviting to Islam), or for lawful earning.
