Is there a way to get rid of same-sex attraction, and is this attraction a form of Allah's wrath?
No one can change Allah's creation from male to female or vice versa. Whoever Allah created as male will not become a true female. Feeling that one belongs to another gender is not an excuse for gender change; rather, it is following Satan and altering Allah's creation. This feeling may be a trial from Allah, and the servant must exercise patience, piety, and self-struggle. It is advised to be cautious of yielding to these feelings, and to strive to practice everything related to masculinity and manhood. It is also recommended to consult a trustworthy Muslim psychiatrist who may help in treating these inclinations and strengthening masculine tendencies.
