Is it permissible to stop giving expiation for an oath (kaffarat al-yamin) to a woman who was receiving it, after doubting her need?

The expiation for an oath is feeding ten needy persons, and nothing else suffices according to the majority of scholars. The fulfillment of this number is a condition. However, the Hanafis permit giving the monetary value and paying the expiation to a single person over ten days. It is necessary to feed the stipulated number, and paying the monetary value is not sufficient except according to the Hanafis, provided it is paid on consecutive days. It is permissible to give the payment to a woman if it is highly probable that she is deserving, but if there is doubt, it is not permissible. A person bringing her a drink is not considered an indication of her not being deserving.
