Is it permissible to seek khulʿ from a husband who concealed his epilepsy and depression before marriage, which has led to an impossible marital life and intense fear?
If the husband conceals epilepsy, he has committed a forbidden deception, and the wife has the right to annul the marriage due to this defect, because the soul does not find tranquility with someone in such a condition. If the Sharia court does not rule in favor of the wife's right to annulment, then the only option remaining is Khul'. Everything that befalls a servant is by Allah's decree and wisdom. The wife must be patient and have a good opinion of her Lord, for Allah does not let the reward of the doers of good go to waste.
