Praying upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) is among the legislated forms of remembrance (dhikr) that entail abundant reward. It should be recited frequently, especially on Friday, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Increase your prayers upon me on this day, for your prayers are presented to me." There is no specific wording prescribed for Friday; rather, it is valid with any form that has been authentically reported from him, especially those agreed upon, such as the Ibrahimiyyah prayer.
