Did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, extract the comb from the well as was mentioned in the Hadith?

Authentic narrations confirm that the Jew Labid ibn al-A'sam bewitched the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and that the Prophet was affected by it, then he was informed of the location of the magic in the well of Dharwan. Scholars have differed regarding the Prophet's extraction of the magic from the well, holding two views:

The first: that he did extract it, and this is what Sufyan ibn Uyaynah and Ma'mar narrated from Hisham, from Aisha, and it is supported by the narration of Zayd ibn Arqam.

The second: that he did not extract it, and this is what a number of narrators narrated from Hisham, from Aisha.

The narrations have been reconciled by the possibility that Aisha's question was about "al-Nushrah" (a form of ruqyah/treatment) and not about "extraction," or that the extraction was of the magical material from the well, while the denial of extraction was for what was inside the casing (jaf) of the magic itself, so as not to stir up evil among the people.
