Is drinking water from a forbidden source considered unlawful if the water reaches the house without a water meter and without payment for it?

It is not permissible to resort to deception to obtain water without payment, whether by not installing the meter, disabling it, or evading bill payment. This involves cheating, deception, and unlawfully consuming public funds. Allah has forbidden consuming people's wealth unjustly and has prohibited cheating, scheming, and deception. Therefore, installing the meter and paying for the water are obligatory.
