Understanding the religion and learning the rulings of the is among the best acts of closeness to Allah. Through knowledge, acts of worship and transactions become sound, and by it, a servant comes to know his Lord and the path to salvation. It is also one of the greatest means of steadfastness when questioned in the grave.
