What should I do regarding my doubt about the number of pebbles for throwing the Jamarah on behalf of my aunt's daughter? Should I offer a fidyah on her behalf without her knowledge? To whom should the fidyah be distributed, what is its amount, and what should I offer as fidyah?

If one doubts while stoning the jamarāt whether they threw six pebbles or seven: if the doubt occurred during the stoning, they should act upon the lesser number and add one pebble to ensure the act of worship is performed with certainty. However, if the doubt occurred after leaving the stoning site, it has no effect.

If the doubt occurred during the stoning or at its end before leaving, and they did not throw a pebble, it is more cautious to give a mudd of food (approximately 750 grams) to a poor person in Mecca.

The more apparent view is that there is no blame on them, and it does not harm their Hajj, as the Sacred Law did not specify what is obligatory for omitting a single pebble; rather, it is an interpretation by some jurists. It was narrated from Ibn Umar that he said: "I do not care whether I stone the jamarāt with six or seven [pebbles]." Furthermore, there is a difference of opinion among jurists on this matter; some say there is nothing due for the pebble, some say a small charity should be given, and some obliged a dam (sacrificial offering).
