Is the self-talk that contradicts the creed, along with feeling happy about it, considered disbelief?

What goes on in a person's mind, consisting of thoughts that are neither acted upon nor spoken, will not be held against them, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned for my nation what they think to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." The questioner, who is feared to be susceptible to waswasah (whisperings from Satan/obsessive thoughts), is advised to completely turn away from thinking about the matter. He can also consult the scholars in his country to explain his emotional state and clarify its ruling.
