What is the ruling on ceasing financial support for family members who depend on the sent money, when they possess real estate that they could utilize to cover their expenses? And what is the ruling on continuing to support them without good grace?

The supplication of parents is answered. If a parent possesses what suffices him, then his maintenance is not obligatory upon you. However, it is desirable to assist him financially as much as possible, apologizing gently if that is not feasible. For the acceptance of maintenance and its reward, sincerity and seeking recompense from Allah Almighty are required. "Whoever spends on his family, expecting reward for it, it will be a charity for him."
