Is it permissible to give charity on behalf of everyone who passes away, with the intention that Allah will then ordain someone to give charity on behalf of the giver after their death?

It has not been reported from the people of knowledge regarding the intention of a person giving charity that Allah will raise for him, after his death, someone to give charity on his behalf. However, this falls under the general meaning of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Allah is in the aid of His servant, as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother," and the universal principle: "The recompense is of the same kind as the deed." It might be more beneficial for the questioner to have the intention for Muslims in general.
