Is the ḥadīth that states "The brother who works is better than the one who devotes himself to worship" authentic?

The phrase "Whoever goes to sleep tired from the work of his hands, goes to sleep with his sins forgiven" has not been reported in this exact wording. However, its meaning is sound if the effort is made to earn a livelihood, maintain self-sufficiency, and provide for one's family. Many hadiths indicate the virtue of work, including the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The upper hand is better than the lower hand, and the upper hand is the one that spends, and the lower hand is the one that begs." And his (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever goes to sleep tired from the work of his hands, goes to sleep with his sins forgiven." The Prophet of God David would only eat from the work of his hands. It was also narrated that during the time of the Prophet, there were two brothers, one of whom worked a profession while the other did not. The working brother complained about his brother to the Prophet, who then told him: "Perhaps you are provided for because of him."
