Is it obligatory to boycott non-observant friends who have relationships with young men and are immodestly dressed, and how can this be done if boycotting them would lead to having no other friends?

Human nature inclines towards friendships, but Islam directs a Muslim to befriend a pious believer who aids in good and forbids evil, warning against associating with evildoers, and emphasizing that any close friendship (khullah) not for theun sake of Allah will turn into enmity on the Day of Resurrection. A Muslim must advise bad companions, and if they do not respond, he must part ways with them; for whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, He will compensate him with something better. One can also seek righteous companionship in Quran memorization circles and scholarly lessons.
