What is the ruling on a girl refusing marriage because she feels she is a man and is unable to undertake marital responsibilities, and is it permissible to force her into marriage?

Marriage can be obligatory, recommended, or permissible, depending on a person's situation. For someone who has no desire for marriage, scholars have differed on its ruling. Some are of the opinion that it is recommended due to the generality of the texts, while others hold that abstaining from it is better, because it does not achieve the benefits of marriage, prevents his wife from chastity, and distracts him from knowledge and worship without benefit.

If you have no desire for marriage and do not fear temptation, then marriage is not obligatory for you, and your family is not permitted to force you into it, due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "A non-virgin woman may not be married until she is consulted, and a virgin woman may not be married until her permission is sought."

With the family's insistence, it is advisable to consider marriage and its benefits, consult a trustworthy psychologist, perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance), and supplicate for ease in what is good.
