How can a married woman honor her parents to achieve righteousness in the sight of Allah, knowing that her husband does not object to her helping them? And does frequent daily or semi-daily visitation, with the husband's consent, count as honoring them?

Filial piety is among the greatest acts of obedience after the Oneness of Allah. Allah the Almighty has associated showing kindness to parents with His worship in many verses, such as: "And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment" and "That you associate nothing with Him, and to parents, good treatment." Furthermore, filial piety comes among the best deeds after praying on time. The obligation of filial piety includes both married and unmarried women, but the husband's right takes precedence over the parents' right in case of conflict.
