Is the blood currently flowing considered menstruation that prohibits prayer and fasting, or is it a hemorrhage that obligates prayer and fasting?

If you are experiencing continuous bleeding due to the aforementioned reason, then you are a mustahadah (experiencing irregular bleeding). Consider what aligns with your regular period as menstruation, and anything beyond that as istihada (irregular bleeding). During the period of menstruation, abstain from prayer and all other acts that a menstruating woman abstains from. Then, perform ghusl (ritual bath) and pray, even if the bleeding continues. Outside your regular period, perform wudu (ablution) for each prayer after its time has begun, if the bleeding persists.
