What is the ruling on a son abandoning his father who drinks alcohol, harasses women and children, and curses the religion when angry, and the son has advised him but he did not respond and expelled his son from the house?

If a father curses the religion while being sane and of his own free will, he has committed an act of disbelief (kufr). He must be advised gently and kindly. If the advice is not effective, it is permissible to abandon him (hajr) if it is highly probable that this will lead to a positive outcome for him.
