Is one who abandons prayer considered a criminal, based on Allah's saying: "What has landed you in Saqar?"

Abandoning prayer is considered a grave offense, as it is one of the greatest sins and major transgressions, more sinful than adultery, drinking alcohol, theft, and killing a soul. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, explicitly stated that abandoning prayer is disbelief (kufr).
