It is the right of the husband upon his wife that she adorn herself for him in ways that please him, such as clothing, perfume, and a pleasant appearance, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The best of women is she who pleases him when he looks." We advise the wife to obey her husband in what is good and to fulfill his desires, and we advise the husband not to be strict in demanding henna if his wife adorns herself for him with other types of adornment.
