Which is better in reward: to pray Qiyam Al-Layl with a thousand verses, or to sit in Duha after Fajr until sunrise?

It is preferable to combine sitting in the prayer area until sunrise with reciting a thousand verses. If combining them is not possible, we cannot definitively say which one is superior to the other. Many hadiths have been narrated regarding the virtue of sitting in the prayer area until sunrise, and its merits are numerous, such as the forgiveness of sins and returning with the reward of a complete Hajj and Umrah. As for the virtue of reciting a thousand verses, it has been reported that one who does so is recorded among the muqantireen, meaning those who have attained abundant reward. The various merits of sitting in the prayer area appear to be greater. The comparison here is not between night vigil prayer (qiyam al-layl) and forenoon prayer (Duha), but rather between reciting a thousand verses and sitting after Fajr until sunrise, along with the accompanying remembrance (dhikr) and Duha prayer.
