Sitting in the mosque to remember Allah until sunrise earns the reward of a complete Hajj and Umrah. The disagreement regarding the authenticity of this hadith is well-known. What has been reported concerning the reward for night prayer (Qiyam al-Layl) is more abundant and more authentic. Allah Almighty has praised those who perform night prayer and promised them a great reward. Night prayer was obligatory at the beginning of Islam, then its obligation was abrogated, and it remained a Sunnah for the Ummah. So, if a Muslim cannot combine night prayer with sitting in the prayer area until sunrise, then night prayer is preferable for him. Reviewing the Qur'an with the intention of solidifying memorization is a form of seeking knowledge, and it carries a great reward. Reciting the Qur'an without contemplation also carries a reward.
