Should a woman who has been divorced through "khulʿ," has four daughters, is an orphan of both parents, and has no siblings, rely on Allah and have a good opinion of Him in the management of her affairs and provision, without worrying about her new way of life, while trusting that Allah will help and strengthen her to bear the responsibility of her daughters?

A woman is not permitted to seek divorce or annulment (khul') unless there is a legitimate شرعي justification. She must also be patient and strive for reconciliation, even if a justification exists, because reconciliation is better, and patience might be better for the children. If she believes that separation is the better option, then she may proceed, taking measures to secure her livelihood while relying on Allah. Separation does not obligate the wife to provide for her children if they have a father who is capable of providing for them. Financial support for children is an obligation upon the father due to kinship and is not waived by the mother's divorce or annulment (khul').
