How can the attachment of a relative be alleviated when he refuses to marry the suitor because of their kinship?

If the suitor is a relative of good character and religious commitment, he should not be rejected, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If someone whose religious commitment and character you approve proposes to you, then marry him. If you do not do so, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption." And also his saying: "Nothing like marriage is seen for two who love each other." The degree of kinship is not a concern, as the effects of marrying distant relatives have not been proven.

If this is the reason for rejection, then marriage should be accepted. Otherwise, it is obligatory to distance oneself from him, as it is not permissible to establish a friendship or brotherly relationship.
