What is the correct purification for a couple after intercourse, and is it permissible for them to wear clothes that became impure during intercourse?

There is no legal impediment to wearing ritually impure clothes unless the Muslim is in a state that requires ritual purity, such as prayer or circumambulation (Tawaf). Semen—from both men and women—is not ritually impure according to the more preponderant opinion.
