Is the entire garment considered impure, or only the part of it that was touched by semen during intercourse while clothed?

Many scholars have concluded that semen is pure, whether it is discharged due to a wet dream or intercourse. They cite the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "I used to rub it off the garment of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with my fingers, and he would pray in it." Semen is pure, and it is prescribed to remove what has stained clothes for cleanliness. As for prostatic fluid (madhy), it is impure, and it is sufficient to sprinkle water on the garment to purify it, based on the hadith of Sahl ibn Hunayf: "It is sufficient for you to take a handful of water and sprinkle it on your garment where you think it has been stained."
