Does a sin committed after repentance get added to the previous sins that were erased by repentance, or is it considered a single new sin?

If a servant repents with sincere repentance that fulfills all its conditions, he becomes as if he had never sinned. If he then returns to sin, the sins he committed before his repentance are not recorded against him; rather, only the sin he committed recently is recorded.
