The answer

Regarding white discharge that is blood-free and appears after menstruation: if it originates from the uterus, it is pure (tahir). However, if it comes from the urinary opening, it is impure (najis). As for discharge accompanied by blood: if its duration, combined with the menstrual period, exceeds fifteen days, the woman distinguishes the menstrual blood, and any excess is considered irregular bleeding (istihada). If she cannot distinguish, she is considered menstruating for the duration of her usual period, and the remainder is istihada. If the duration of its appearance, combined with the menstrual period, is less than fifteen days, then all of it is considered menstruation.
