Is it permissible to pray over a deceased child who was born in his fifth month, and where should he be buried given the absence of a Muslim cemetery in the town?

The miscarried fetus should be washed and prayed over if it emerges alive. However, if it emerges dead after four months or more, it is to be washed and prayed over according to Imam Ahmad and those who agree with him. The majority of scholars hold that it is to be washed but not prayed over. As for its burial, it should be transported to Muslim cemeteries if possible, and not buried in disbelievers' cemeteries unless absolutely necessary.
